Abstract
Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2017 yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui distribusi kelompok M. hecki dan M. tonkeana di Hutan lindung dan Cagar Alam Pangi Binangga sebagai upaya konservasi sumber daya hayati. Pengamatan dilakukan di 9 titik pada dua kawasan tersebut dengan menggunakan metode scanning sampling, yaitu mencatat setiap kategori pada waktu yang singkat. Terdapat 4 kelompok Macaca tidak bercampur dan 1 kelompok Macaca bercampur yang ditemukan di kawasan Hutan Lindung, serta terdapat 4 kelompok Macaca bercampur pada kawasan Cagar Alam Pangi Binangga.
