Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis cacing tanah genus Polypheretima pada beberapa habitat di Desa Tovalo Kecamatan Kasimbar, Kabupaten Parigi Moutong, Sulawesi Tengah. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai bulan Januari sampai Juli 2017. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di 3 tipe habitat (pemukiman masyarakat, kebun dan hutan sekunder). Koleksi sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Pada Masing-masing habitat ditentukan sebanyak 1 plot dengan ukuran 30m x 30m. Setiap plot terdapat 9 titik pengambilan sampel dengan ukuran masing-masing yaitu 1m x 1m x 30cm (kedalaman) dan jarak antar titik pengambilan sampel yaitu 10m. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan genus Polypheretima dari kelompok Pheretima family Megascolecidae pada masing-masing habitat yaitu Polypheretima sp.1, Polypheretima sp.2, Polypheretima sp.3 dan Polypheretima sp.4.
